The No-Code manifesto, marketplace payments and are there too many new Bubble freelancers?
No-Code is programming
Bubble co-founders Josh and Emmanuel originally penned the no-code manifesto back in 2014. In it, they advocated for an approach to software development that “teaches computers to understand humans rather than insisting humans learn how to speak to computers”.
This week, they released an updated version of the manifesto. This time around, Josh and Emmanuel are calling for a reassessment of what the term ‘no-code’ means. Specifically, they want to raise the bar for the term ‘no-code’; Bubble programmers should be considered programmers.

Unfortunately, companies who hire cheaper, less experienced devs can often regret their choice and end up with a negative impression of Bubble as a whole.
